Sisters’ Salsa (By Rebecca)
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 c. onions (diced)
- 1 Tbsp. garlic (minced)
- 2 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 15 oz. can diced tomatoes
- 2 tsp. jalapenos (diced, seeds removed)
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. lime juice
- 1/4 bunch cilantro (chopped fine)
Directions
Heat oil in a saute pan, add onion, garlic, spices, and sauté until fragrant. Remove from heat when onions are translucent. Using your food processor, coarsely chop all ingredients, except cilantro. Add cilantro last and additional salt, lime juice, or pepper flakes if you desire. Serve with everything. Yum!
