Sister's Cornbread Recipe

  1. Preheat over to 425°F
  2. Lightly grease a cast iron skillet
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients and sift together well
  4. In a separate bowl, combine eggs, waters, and oil and beat well
  5. Add all wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir
  6. Pour batter into skillet
  7. Place on bottom rack for 25 minutes
  8. Move to top rack for up to 25 minutes
  9. When top is golden with some browning and a knife inserted into center comes out clean, cornbread is done

Yield: eight servings
